Troop 9 will be holding its annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Scout Sunday, February 5th. We are asking each scout to sell a minimum of 5 tickets. Please help pre-sell as many tickets as possible to family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. This fundraiser is very important to the Troop and the funds are greatly needed at this time.

Activities Include: Climbing on the indoor climbing wall; Ice Fishing (if conditions permit); Winter Skills Training; Cross-country Skiing / Snow-Shoeing; Shoot .22 rifles and Archery; Shot-Gun; winter games; and fun!

Troop  9  Scouts  have  a  huge  opportunity  to  be  introduced  to  the  sport  of  climbing,  and   possibly  earn  a  merit  badge  in  the  process  when  we  travel  for  an  overnight  adventure  at  Rock  Spot  Climbing  Center  in  Lincoln,  Rhode  Island  on  the  weekend  of  January  7th - 8th.

Troop 9 traditionally takes a day trip in December, and this year’s adventure will be to Boston! We’ll head out to the Boston Museum of Science after taking the MBTA commuter train out of Union Station in Worcester. Lunch will be at the Museum of Science – Scouts can bring their own or buy it at the cafeteria - and we’ll also spend time at Faneuil Hall, and have dinner at a local eatery.
